about

This song takes inspiration from a traditional tune called Nhemamusasa, one of the oldest songs in the mbira repertoire of Zimbabwe, and features a simple and repetitive Mbira melody played over a 6/8 african style percussion groove performed with congas, shekere, djembe and an udu drum... amongst other hand percussions.
